How do I change my account password?

To change your account password for your zMailCloud account, open a web browser and navigate to your custom server address, usually https://mycompany.zmailcloud.com/, replacing mycompany with your own company’s custom URL.  If you are unsure of your custom server address is, you can use your email address to find it here.

To reset your password, sign in to your account using your email address & password:

At the top menu, click on Preferences:

Under the menu on the left, click on General and select Change Password on the right hand side:

A pop-up window will appear.  Enter your current password in the Old Password field & enter your new & unique password in the New Password and Confirm fields:

Click on Change password to submit changes.  Once you have successfully updated to a new password, a verification window should appear:

How do I setup my zMailCloud account on an Android device?

This article contains the steps to setup your zMailCloud account on an Android device using an Exchange/ActiveSync connection.

Please back up any and all data on the device before you initiate the following steps:

From your Android home screen, select the Email/My Accounts icon found under Settings:

Click Add New Account

Select Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync as the account type (or Corporate Email).

Click ‘Manual Setup’

Enter your zMailCloud account settings:

  • Email Address: your full zMailCloud email address
  • Server Address: yourcutomaddress.zmailcloud.com (if you are unsure what your custom server address is, please contact support@zmailcloud.com)
  • Domain: leave blank (or \username@yourdomain.com)
  • Username: zMailCloud email address
  • Password: zMailCloud account password

Check ‘This server requires an SSL connection’

Click ‘Next’.
Select the data you want to sync (Mail, Contacts, and Calendar).
Click ‘Finish Setup’.

Additional info: Some Android devices require that you must 1st navigate to the web client using your phone’s web broswer and accept the security certificate at https://server.zmailcloud.com/ before setting up your account.

Congratulations! You have successfully authenticated your zMailCloud account on your Android device.
